The combination of this dynamic duo would prove to be a fatal union of the depraved, atrocious, horrendous, egregious, and everything attached to fatality. Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka were said by all accounts to be the perfect couple. Karla found in Paul an older man, economic prospects, wealthy, and above all attractive. Karla and Paul had a chance meeting at a convention she attended. Paul was also in attendance at the convention. Paul laid eyes on Karla who was equally attractive. She was blond-haired, had blue eyes, and described her as having a resemblance to Barbie. Paul laid eyes on Karla and approached her. According to “ The Horrifying Story Of David Parker Ray, The "Toy Box Killer" (allthatsinteresting.com) Angelica Montano was an acquaintance of Ray’s who, after visiting his house to borrow cake mix, had been drugged, raped, and tortured by Ray. Montano was then left by a highway out in the desert. Luckily, she was found there alive by the police, but there had been no follow-up on her case ”.
