Episode-69-CTA (Domestic Violence and Sex trafficking)    On this episode I share a story of a14-year-old girl, troubled at home, lured by an older boy … Trafficked to a forced prostitution ring, sold and re-sold, finally taken by the police — But then jailed because of an antiquated state law that makes the child the criminal  … and often lets the predator off scot-free. It’s happening here … in the United States.  And it’s not right. We must unite to take a stand against Human trafficking. We can show support to these two organizations that empower and help victims facing abusive relationships and human trafficking. We must all come together in support of agencies who are doing advocacy work to change the laws of victims being criminalized. In this episode I break down how Investigators needed to make sure that everything Pickhushkin had told them was not a macquination of his imagination. We have seen criminals confess only to recant their statements and accuse officials of being coerced into making a false confession. Investigators needed to have substantial evidence of his culpability for the prosecution. They Bring Pickhushkin to the Scene of hi s crime in Bitsa park. In February of 2002, 4 years earli er, an unsolved crime was reported to police by hospital personnel. A patient came in with curious injuries.
