This investigation officially began on April 13 th , 1975, when the Body of Albert Rivera age 21 of Los Angeles was found near highway 74, east of San Juan Capistrano in a heavy-Duty Trash Bag. This was not the most chilling discovery nor the first victim of the Perp. The killings started much earlier in the mid 60’s. in Tijuana SanDiego. Police later uncovered human skeletal remains where a single bullet pierced the skull of George in a Culver City apartment the killer occupied with his lover. The boys that littered the highways were all homosexuals. The 70’s Era was a confusing time for young teens who were exploring their sexualities. Being homosexual during this time was demonized. There were cities that glamorized the lifestyle and there was sympathy towards young gay men.
