Welcome to Episode 27: The Ortega Family: The Covina Massacre-
A man in a Santa Suit on December 24th, 2008, showed up to the Ortegas residence and decided to set the entire home ablaze. The man came with a mission to Annihilate the Ortegas-Ortiz. Why? What did an innocent family do that would make a mad man want to commit such a heinous act on Christmas Eve was beyond a cowardly act. We unpack the events that unfolded on December 24th, 2008, when an excited, 8-year-old Katrina opened the door to let Santa Clause in. Katrina was about to ask what he brought her when he revealed a concealed weapon and did the unthinkable. The sources below were instrumental to this episode's research.
