Episode-BONUS interview with Retired NYPD Detective Vic Ferrari

Welcome to the Bonus Episode- I had the pleasure of interviewing a retired NYPD Detective Vic Ferrari. Vic has worked in the Bronx/Harlem area in NYC for 20 years. I had the pleasure of interviewing this veteran who has dedicated 20 years to policing. Vic provided all us listeners with information on what an actual crime scene looks like. Vic shares his anecdotes of his time policing areas in the Bronx and Harlem. Vic and I grew up in the Bronx in NYC. I was excited to hear anecdotes from the very place I call home. Vic and I go from several topics from a son who may or may not have murdered his mother in cold blood. Vic knew he wanted a career in Law Enforcement when he was 5. When Vic was 10 years old, he and a friend used to sneak inside of the postal office to steal FBI wanted posters that littered the post office with wanted criminals. He would orchestrate manhunts searching for the wanted suspect in the poster. You would have to take a listen to know what his manhunts consisted of. We even spoke about famous individuals he encountered while he worked for the NYPD. Vic Ferrari, author of NYPD: Through the Looking Glass: Stories from Inside America’s Largest Police Department, The NYPD’s Flying Circus: Cops, Crime & Chaos, Grand Theft Auto: The NYPD’s Auto Crime Division, and NYPD: Law & Disorder is a retired twenty-year member of the New York City Police Department who refuses to write in chronological order. With no formal training or Harvard degree, Vic’s managed to write four behind-the-scenes books about his former employer. With remarkable attention to detail combined with a sarcastic flair, Vic exposes the good, the bad, and the ugly of America’s largest police department. The link is below so you guys can order his books. I put it in my amazon order for NYPD, through the looking glass. THANK YOU VIC FERRARI YOU WERE AN AMAZING GUEST. THANK YOU FOR ALSO BEING MY INSTAGRAM FRIEND :)
