Welcome to Episode 41- The Butcher Baker part 3 Defrauding the system.

Born Robert Christian Hansen on February 15, 1939, in Estherville, Iowa, his father was a Danish immigrant named Christian and his mother Edna Hansen they owned a local bakery in Iowa. His father was a strict disciplinarian. They lived in, Iowa Pocahontas, a small town of about 2,000 people in 1951. As a teenager Robert was mocked for having uncontrolled Acne and a stuttering he developed when his father obligated him to write with his right hand and not his left. This created stuttering in his speech. Robert Hansen has a wife, two small children, a bakery owner and his wife was a faithful servant of God. I unpack the history that led Alaska baffled as he is one of the most prolific serial killers of this magnitude Alaska has ever seen in the 80’s. Robert Hansen reported a crime, but did it really happen? Or did he orchestrate fraud? Robert Hansen was proficient in the art of deception. You will see how far a monster went to cover up his tracks. He got away with it for a decade. Robert Hansen was cunning and found loopholes in the system he took full advantage of. He was a chameleon. He disguised himself as an upstanding man in the community meanwhile he was hiding his true fascination from family and friends.
